What is Open Xml Power Tools?
Open Xml Power Tools is a set of cmdlets (software components for Power Shell) written to be used stand alone from Power Shell command prompt or as part of Power Shell scripts in order to create or modify Open Xml Documents.
Open Xml Power Tools have been released by Microsoft as Open Source code at Code Plex.

By using Open Xml Power Tools you would be able to the implement the following and other similar and related operations on Open Xml documents by calling the Power Tools either directly from the Power Shell command prompt or from Power Shell scripts which combine different Power Tools cmdlets to implement more complex workflows:
